I always thought of Death Valley as hot. Stay away from me hot. Don’t come near me hot. So, on my first trip there I searched for something a bit cooler. Snow would do. Then we could take a peak into the valley from above, just in case it was too hot when we got down there. The view from atop Wildrose Peak is awesome! And it’s not too hot. I wonder what it’s like in the summer, though.
