running

To me, this almost has the feel of a disaster waiting to happen.  With the eerily reddish light and people seemingly running toward the plane looking like it could ram right into the Washington monument.  This couldn’t happen.  Will there be survivors?  Hurry.  We need to help.  Almost, anyway.  The plane narrowly missed.  Everyone is safe.  Our capital city dodges another bullet.

Yes, it’s foggy and quite cool in South Africa.  Not quite my imagination of what Africa is, but now that I’ve seen it, I see it as a lucky break.  What an incredible setting.  We drove up a very rustic road to around 4000 feet to get to the Leshiba Wilderness, set in a valley in the middle of a ominous mountain range.  The place is home to many wild animals and you don’t have to drive on safari to be in and amongst them.  On this cool and blustery afternoon we simply walked down the road and ran into whatever was there.  Coming around a bend in the road, the view opened up to this field of African bush and there they were.  Of course, as soon as they spotted us, they took off running.  They sure are beautiful in the wild.
