Not being from Europe I find these little enclaves quite charming.  I know they aren’t around for their charm.  It’s just that they’re so hard to find here in the States when needed.  Maybe this kind of phenomena belongs to the “absence makes the heart grow fonder” line.  Charming, right?  Well, certainly the utmost in foresight and practicality.  Now that seems British.  Yet it was the French who popularized them first.  This one just happens to be in Copenhagen, Denmark.  Have you ever used a street-side pissoir?
