Good morning. It’s Earth day. Not that that is anything particularly special for me. But, it is a good reminder of where we are in this huge cosmos of stars and planets and maybe a focal-point day that we can, desperately need to, honor the ground we walk upon. Earth is a living, breathing planet and the more we can realize we’re stewards of her beauty, the better off we’ll all be.
These redwood trees are in Muir Woods, just north of San Francisco. Solid and earthy. The park named after one of the greatest of Earth stewards, John Muir. An appropriate image for the day.
