I don’t get to the tropics nearly as much as I’d like to.  I wonder why.  I like the sweat dripping down my body, walking along a quiet beach, eating the local tropical fruit, hearing all those birds.  I also like going to places that are a bit out of the way.  The southern Caribbean side of Costa Rica is usually not the place one first goes to.  Yet we did.  Punta Uva.  Remote and rural.  Nothing fancy.  Walking in the jungle.  Walking along the beach.  It’s warm and humid even when it’s stormy.  Wanna go for a swim?
