I was traipsing around in the woods one day, looking for mushrooms.  Yes, I did see a few, but it wasn’t quite wet enough to find and gather any of the edible kind.  What I did find, of consequence, though, is color.  The beautiful golden yellow color that is autumns trademark.  Mixed in with the evergreens green and the quiet semi-dampness of the growing fall season, I found myself in a surprisingly pleasant and peaceful state of being.  At first I was disappointed at not finding any mushrooms of significance, but then I looked around and noticed what was there.  Such a simple thing that is sometimes so elusive.
