Our plan for the day was to hike up to Thunder River, a river coming out of a wall of the Grand Canyon that eventually flows down into the Colorado River.  But, before heading up, we had to traverse the swiftly flowing Canyon Creek.  The sturdy-of-foot ones went first to create a line of support for those less sure footed.  It was quite cool early in the morning and an exhilarating start to a momentous day of hiking in the awesomeness of the Grand Canyon. A very careful stream crossing on our hike up to Thunder River
