Talking to other photographers, I was happily informed that it’s fullness would be rising right over the capital building, which is not always the case. So, we were setting our tripods up and sharing stories while waiting when I noticed the sun mixing with the wispy clouds to the west, next to the Washington Monument. I politely excused myself, grabbed my camera and ran back across the street. Nobody else seemed to care. Sure don’t know why.
